Role Summary
Join our imaging team as a CT Technologist. You will perform computed tomography (CT) procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images that assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment. You report to the CT Section Leader.
Schedule & Compensation
- Schedule: Full Time
- Pay Range: $41.00 - $57.00 / Hourly
- Shift: Eve/Night shift
- Hours: 4:00 PM – 7:30 AM (x2), 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (x1)
- Hours per week: 40 hours
Responsibilities
- Perform computed tomography (CT) procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Collaborate with the imaging team to ensure patient safety and exceptional image quality.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program, or equivalent diploma, required.
- Experience: One (1) or more years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
- Licensure & Certifications: Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required; Advanced ARRT certification in CT strongly preferred; Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers required.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Demonstrated proficiency with IV insertion and administration of iodinated contrast media per American College of Radiology (ACR) guidelines.
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in performing a wide variety of diagnostic CT examinations.
- Experience using PACS, HIS/RIS, and other healthcare information systems.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new technologies.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all applicable privacy regulations.
