Radiology (CT)
Unit notes profiles go directly over to the manager for consideration. Copy of the driver's license is needed at time of submittal to validate legal name - Pulse must reflect the name on a government issued ID - no middle initial or middle name. First to float between Bryan and College Station campus (16 minutes apart) as needed. Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.
Special information:
- Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination
- May be asked to precept, as needed by the unit
Certification requirements:
- BLS
- ARRT (CT)
- Texas MRT license
Unit will provide the rad dosimetry badge.

- 3 (1 ER, 2 Main)

- CTs with and without contrast

- ER and Inpatient
Average number of scans per day:
- 16 - 24

- Meditech / Fuji
Department equipment:
- 3 client scanners (one 16-slice and 2 64-slice)

Rad in house:
- During the day. Virtually at night (ER doctor for emergencies)
Have to start IVs? Yes
Weekends: Yes, every other weekend
Holidays: Occasionally, rotate in with perm staff
Call:
- Yes
- Discuss in interview. 30 minute response time. (Back-up only. Always someone in house)
- The call rotation is every 6th week. If their off-week rotation falls on Monday through Wednesday, the call would be 5p-6am. If their off-week rotation falls on Thurs-Sunday, the call is Thursday 5 p.m.–6 a.m., Friday 5 p.m.–7 a.m., and Saturday 7a-7a, Sun. 7a-6a. 30 minute response time
