Schedule: Varied 12-Hour Shifts / Weekend Rotation Required

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week contract opportunity in Chico, California . This position is based at a Level II Trauma Center and requires a skilled imaging professional with experience performing high-quality CT examinations while ensuring patient safety and delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures while following physician orders and established imaging protocols.
• Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring optimal image quality and radiation safety standards.
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients throughout imaging procedures, providing compassionate patient-centered care.
• Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information using EPIC EMR while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to support timely diagnosis and quality patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Active California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license required.
• Current ARRT Certification , California Fluoroscopy Permit , and BLS Certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent CT scanning experience required; GE Scanner experience preferred .
• Previous successful travel assignment experience preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, patient care, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced acute care environment.
