Role Overview
Seeking a compassionate CT Tech to join the radiology team, responsible for performing computerized tomographic imaging with clinical reasoning, technical expertise, and patient-centered care. The role involves creating a supportive environment, educating patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The technician will handle patient concerns, elevate issues appropriately, and optimize exam flow while adhering to evidence-based practices and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging utilizing critical thinking, decision-making, and safety checks.
- Educate patients, address concerns, and create a healing environment.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient exam processes.
- Follow safety protocols, verify exam orders, and perform necessary quality checks.
- Document events accurately and raise concerns when needed.
- Perform additional clinical duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate Degree in a relevant field.
- NM CT License (NMCT) or Provisional License (NMPCT).
- ARRT certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
