Job DescriptionFind your calling at Mercy! \ N The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The CT Technologist must also effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.\ N Position Details: \ N

Minimum Qualifications:

\ N

Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours.

\ N

Experience: no experience required

\ N

Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

\ N

Certification/Registration: Obtained ARRT registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility);
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire

\ N

Proficiency in operating imaging equipment.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

- Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

\ N

- Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.

\ N

- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
