RAYUS Radiology is looking for a CT Technologist to join our team. As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, you will operate assigned scanner(s) to produce diagnostic images of the patient's body, providing CT services with professionalism and excellent customer service.

The pay range for this position is $30.00-$47.47 based on direct and relevant experience.

This is a part-time position typically working 32 hours per week (benefit eligible) Monday‑Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm and 8:30am - 5:00pm, includes Saturday rotation. It is a multimodality position working in CT, C‑arm, and X‑ray. Willing to train in CT!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient CT Imaging (90%)

  1. Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination, using two patient identifiers to ensure the correct patient and procedure.
  2. Explains and prepares patients for scanning imaging procedures, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately imaged.
  3. Performs routine and advanced scanning imaging procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, with minimal supervision or repeat scans, while providing patient support by talking to patients throughout the procedure.
  4. Adjusts scanning parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate.
  5. Follows physicians' orders precisely, conforms to safety regulations, and accurately maintains patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  6. Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
  7. Maintains an orderly and clean work area, including equipment, promoting good safety habits for patients and co‑workers.

CT/Imaging Department Support (5%)

  1. Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades.
  2. Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary.
  3. Assists with training of new team members, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable.

Completes other tasks as assigned (5%)

Required:

  1. High School diploma, or equivalent.
  2. Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
  3. ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
  4. Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
  5. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  6. Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform CT procedures independently.
  7. Certification in imaging specialty.

Preferred:

  1. Bilingual.
