CT Technologist - CT Technologist
Job Details:
• 3rd shift position following a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation, starting on Thursday and running through the following Wednesday
• Thursday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday hours: 8:30 PM - 6:30 AM
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Work independently in CT with support of an X-ray tech onsite
• Transport patients to and from CT exams
• Serve inpatient, outpatient, and ED patients in need of CT services
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Minimum 2 years of experience with CT Canon (Toshiba) scanner required; facility scanner is 80 slice
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Medrad Stellant injector required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Experience with Canon/Toshiba 40 and 80 slice scanners is beneficial
• Skills required include basic CT principles and practices, peripheral IV starts with IV contrast injection skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Department Supervisor support available on the unit
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT registered)
• Scrub color: Any

This facility is a Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center operating with 80 beds. It provides a comprehensive range of imaging and medical services supporting inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients. The CT department operates with modern Canon/Toshiba scanner technology and utilizes EPIC as its primary charting system, with departmental supervisor support available to staff.
