CT Technologist

Position Summary

Under the general supervision of the CT Scan Supervisor, the CT Technologist provides CT skills and initiatives to the department mission through interactions with staff and others as necessary. Primary duties are to work as a Technologist on either East Newton or Harrison Avenue campus while also implementing policy and procedures as determined necessary with the CT Scan Supervisor and Radiology Administrative Director.

Job Responsibilities

• Work as a CT Technologist on the East Newton or Harrison Avenue campus.
• Perform CT scans and manage radiologic equipment.
• Interact effectively with patients, provide instruction to students, and supervise staff technologists.
• Implement policies and procedures under the direction of the CT Scan Supervisor and Radiology Administrative Director.

Job Requirements

• Education: Completion of two years post‑high‑school training in an approved school of radiologic technology.
• Certifications & Licenses: MRST, AART required; CT license preferred.
• State license required and all applicable radiology education requirements.
• Knowledge of principles and procedures of diagnostic radiology and CT, operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Range: $44.21 – $65.71 per hour. Base pay is based on education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
