Position: CT Technologist
Department: CT Scan
Schedule: Full Time
Under the general supervision of the CT Scan Supervisor, the CT Technologist provides CT skills and initiatives to the department mission through interactions with staff and others as necessary. Primary duties are to work as a Technologist on either the East Newton or Harrison Avenue campus while implementing policy and procedures as determined necessary through the CT Scan Supervisor and Radiology Administrative Director.
Responsibilities
- Work as a Technologist on either East Newton or Harrison Avenue campus and implement policies and procedures determined by the CT Scan Supervisor and Radiology Administrative Director.
- Provide CT skills and initiative to support department mission and patient care.
Qualifications
- Education: Knowledge of principles and procedures of diagnostic radiology and CT and the operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment, generally acquired through the completion of two years of post-high school training in an approved school of radiologic technology. Other in-house and on-the-job training also required.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Required: MRST, AART required. CT license preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and staff, instruct students, and provide technical supervision to staff technologists. State license required and all applicable radiology education requirements.
Compensation
Compensation Range: $44.21 - $65.71
This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
