What You Will Do:

Perform high-quality radiographic and CT imaging studies in accordance with established protocols while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and diagnostic accuracy.

Essential Job Functions:

• - Performs radiologic procedures following unit-based standards of practice.
• - Positions patients, sets exposure factors, and produces high-quality diagnostic images.
• - Prepares and maintains exam rooms per BRGMC Safety Guidelines.
• - Utilizes immobilization devices and ensures patient safety and comfort.
• - Operates radiographic and CT equipment safely and accurately.
• - Prepares contrast media and administers when permitted by policy.
• - Explains procedures to patients, reduces anxiety, and ensures cooperation.
• - Recognizes adverse reactions and communicates promptly with staff and physicians.
• - Demonstrates age-specific care and clear communication.
• - Performs CT scans including patient positioning, scan setup, and image acquisition.
• - Maintains CT room, equipment, and supply inventory.
• - Performs daily QC tests and documents radiation safety compliance.
• - Accurately charges procedures and maintains regulatory readiness.
• - Completes required education and maintains licensure and CPR.
• - Performs all other duties as assigned.
