Wake Radiology is seeking a floating CT Technologist Assistant to support CT Technologists in providing safe, efficient, and high-quality imaging services while delivering excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with patient check-in, screening, preparation, positioning, and discharge.
- Verify patient information, orders, and medical history.
- Explain procedures and address patient questions or concerns.
- Start and remove IVs as needed using proper aseptic technique.
- Assist technologists with patient positioning, room setup, cleanup, and stocking.
- Prepare the CT room and maintain infection control and safety standards.
- Communicate delays or schedule changes with the team.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and company policies.
- Support a positive, professional, patient-centered environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- BLS certification required or must obtain within 60 days of hire.
- One year of medical experience (MA, EMT, Phlebotomist, etc.) preferred.
- IV experience preferred; Venous Access Training Certification preferred or required within 60 days of hire.
- Experience with EPIC, PACS, or other medical imaging systems preferred.
- Certified Imaging Assistant, CNA, or MA certification preferred.
- Driver's license in good standing.
- Willing to float between Raleigh and surrounding area offices .
- Hours are 8a-4:30p Monday-Friday.
