Shift: Full-Time, Nights (Thursday - Sunday, 9 PM - 7 AM)

Job Summary And Qualifications

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of the ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Technologist provides high-quality computerized tomography images to physicians for diagnosis and treatment. What you will do in this role:

• Compassionately assist and position patients on the CT table.
• Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions.
• Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• (ARRT-R) Radiography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer.
