Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: San Angelo, TX 76903
Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (shift negotiable)
Schedule: 40 hours/week (4 days/week)
Salary Range: $64,000 – $90,000 annually
Experience: New Graduates Welcome
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans as ordered by physicians
- Prepare and position patients accurately to ensure optimal imaging results
- Operate CT equipment and adjust technical parameters for precise image capture
- Administer contrast media when required, following safety protocols
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and infection control practices
- Review and evaluate CT images for quality and completeness before submission to radiologists
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Perform routine equipment checks and report malfunctions or issues promptly
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to ensure timely diagnosis
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification (R) required; CT certification (ARRT-CT) preferred or obtained within a specified timeframe
- Texas state licensure (or eligibility)
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT imaging techniques
- Strong patient care, communication, and critical-thinking skills
