Position Summary

AtCapitol Imaging Services(Houston MRI – The Woodlands),we’rea leading provider of diagnostic imaging services committed to delivering high-quality patient care through innovation and a compassionate approach. As we continue to grow,we’relooking for a dynamic andcompassionate CT X-RayTechnologist.

The CT Technologistis responsible forperforming high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging proceduresin accordance withphysician orders and established protocols. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality while deliveringaccuratediagnostic images for interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans following physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Operate andmaintainCT equipment, troubleshooting minor technical issues as needed.
  • Administer contrast agents underappropriate supervisionand monitorpatient response.
  • Verify patient identification andmaintainaccuratedocumentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensureoptimalimage quality.
  • Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the procedure.
  • Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Certification:

  • ARRT (R) and (CT) certificationrequired.
  • State licensure (if applicable).

Experience:Minimum 1 year of CT experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training may be considered.

QualificationsEssential Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or similar field
  • State licensure
  • Current ARRT/CT certification.
  • Knowledge of safety requirements to provide instructions and to recognize and correct hazardous conditions.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
  • Maintains communication and cooperation with radiologists and other ancillary departments regarding changes in protocol, scheduling of procedures, exams performed and patient flow.
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
  • Excellent customer service skills ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Flexibility in scheduling
