CT Technologist – Night Shift (United States)

Employment Status: Full time
Shift: Night – Monday to Thursday, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Location: 1906 Belleview Ave SE – Roanoke, VA

Role Overview: The CT Technologist performs CT imaging procedures, operates equipment, and ensures high‑quality diagnostic images. Responsibilities include:

• Performing CT imaging procedures and IV contrast injections.
• Operating CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Processing patients, including scheduling, registration, file management, and computer processing.
• Complying with Carilion Clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Participating in training of students and staff.
• Maintaining ARRT registry and professional development through educational opportunities.

Requirements:

• Graduated from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• No prior experience required.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Certified with AHA BLS-HCP.
• Knowledge of computed tomography procedures, cross‑sectional anatomy, radiation safety, and contrast media administration.
• Ability to operate CT equipment and produce high‑quality images.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail‑oriented, able to prioritize responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Committed to maintaining patient confidentiality and professional standards.

Compensation: $33.52 – $50.28 per hour. Sign‑on bonus up to $30,000 and relocation assistance up to $7,000 are available.
