JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

Must be a graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:

Current BLS certification

Current Massachusetts BCEH Computed Tomography (Full/General) license

• Current Massachusetts (Full/General) license in Radiography, and/or Nuclear Medicine, and/or Radiation Therapy
• ARRT registered certification in Computed Tomography with RT(CT) designation

EXPERIENCE:

Experience in CT preferred

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy and medical terminology with analytical skills to effectively utilize this knowledge toward imaging processes, techniques, and procedures.
• Working knowledge of Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
• Ability to rely on experience, judgment, and time‑management skills to plan and accomplish goals.
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude and professional appearance.
• Adherence to safety standards set by the Radiology Department, BMC, and regulatory agencies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and all stakeholders, to instruct students, and to interact with other staff technologists.
• Ability to work cooperatively with the healthcare delivery team, handle frequent interruptions, adapt to changes, set priorities, solve problems, and respond quickly to emergency requests.

SCHEDULE: 24 Hours, Evenings/Nights, Weekends Required, Part‑Time, Benefit Eligible

COMPENSATION RANGE: $42.93 – $63.79 per hour (estimate based on minimum qualifications; total compensation includes medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, etc.)
