Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform computerized tomographic radiographs in accordance with established practices, reviewing exams for appropriateness, and communicating critical situations effectively. The role involves supporting new employee orientation, maintaining credentials, and potentially performing general radiology or lab tests as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and evidence-based guidelines to manage imaging procedures.
- Provide compassionate patient care, educate patients on procedures, and address concerns to promote comfort and healing.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow and resource utilization.
- Ensure safety protocols, perform quality and safety checks, and validate patient information before imaging.
- Support a culturally sensitive approach, respecting diverse patient backgrounds and promoting self-care education.
- Contribute to department quality initiatives, stay current on technology and protocols, and participate in training and onboarding.
Qualifications & Skills
- ARRT certification is required.
- Must hold a NM Computed Tomography License (NMCT) or Provisional License (NMPCT).
- Current BLS certification.
- Associate Degree in a relevant field.
