A CT Technologist responsible for performing computerized tomographic radiographs, reviewing exams for clinical appropriateness, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Key Duties
Utilizes critical thinking and clinical reasoning to manage imaging procedures, communicates effectively with patients and staff, educates patients about procedures, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care. Maintains credentials, supports safety protocols, and contributes to a compassionate environment that promotes patient comfort and healing.
Qualifications & Skills
Requires ARRT certification, NM Computed Tomography License or provisional license, and current BLS certification. An associate degree is essential. Demonstrates proficiency in safety checks, evidence-based practices, and effective communication. Committed to continuous learning, professional development, and fostering an inclusive, team-oriented environment.
