Job Title: CT Technologist 2
Join us at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System as a CT Technologist 2 . We are seeking a qualified professional to perform all CT procedures, produce radiographs of designated anatomical areas as ordered, and adhere to established practices and procedures. Reports to the Supervisor or Manager.
Responsibilities
- Follow departmental policies, procedures, quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
- Prepare documentation such as evaluation results, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Perform CT scan procedures, obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address concerns.
- Transport patients, prepare the CT room, select and operate equipment, and assist physicians as needed.
- Schedule cases, perform venipuncture, request supplies, and maintain equipment.
- Participate in educational programs and perform POC Creatinine testing, including blood draws and machine maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience in radiology and CT procedures preferred; thorough knowledge of radiologic and CT terminology, practices, and anatomy.
- Associate's degree or radiologic technology program graduate preferred.
- Ability to recognize patients' individual needs based on their conditions and procedures.
- Current State License, ARRT certification or eligibility, and BLS-HCP certification.
