In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality diagnostic services while ensuring patient safety and comfort.ResponsibilitiesPerform CT imaging procedures under the direction of a Radiologist and in accordance with state regulations.Ensure proper patient positioning, exposure settings, and radiation safety protocols.Assess patient conditions and adjust imaging procedures as needed for optimal diagnostic results.Prepare and operate CT equipment, ensuring proper function and maintenance.Evaluate lab values before administering contrast media and identify contraindications.Monitor patients during procedures, documenting any reactions or concerns.Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety standards.Qualifications RequiredEducation: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.Licensure:Current CT registration and licensure by the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS)Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart AssociationCT certification (must be obtained within one year of hire)Work Requirements:Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and communicate effectively.Capability to lift/move patients and equipment over 300 lbs with assistance.Ability to work in an environment with exposure to bodily fluids, infectious diseases, and radiation.Skills and CertificationsCT registration and licensure by the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS)Basic Life Support (BLS)CT certification
