There may be more than one opening on this posting.As a CT Technologist, you will perform CT exams that support fast, accurate diagnosis while delivering calm, compassionate care to every patient you serve.Prepare the CT room for each exam.Review patient history and prior imaging before the scan.Choose the correct exam based on the patient's condition.Partner with radiologists and providers when questions arise.Explain the exam clearly to each patient.Support patients before, during, and after imaging.Adjust the exam if patient needs change.Operate the CT scanner safely and accurately.Check image quality before completing the exam.Follow radiation safety standards at all times.Start IVs and perform venipuncture as needed.Complete interventional CT procedures when assigned.Help train students or staff when requested.EducationGraduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (required)ExperienceExperienced CT Techs with at least 1 year of experience highly preferred.Comfortable working independentlyStrong understanding of age?specific patient careProven venipuncture skillsExperience using PACS and RIS systemsEPIC RIS, FUJI, or IntelliSpace PACS experience preferredLicenses & CertificationsARRT in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or Computed TomographyARRT CT certification highly preferred at hire; required within 1 year of hireWashington State Radiologic Technologist licenseBasic Life Support (BLS) upon hireSkills That Matter HereClear, calm communicationStrong organization and attention to detailAbility to manage priorities during busy shiftsComfort working in a fast?paced but supportive environmentPeaceHealth is committed to caring for the whole caregiver— physical, emotional, financial, social, and spiritual.Our benefits include:Medical, dental, and vision coverage403(b) retirement plan with employer matchingPaid time offEmployer?paid life and disability insuranceTuition and continuing education reimbursementWellness benefits and expanded mental health resourcesFor full consideration of your skills and abilities, please attach a current resume with your application.
