Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans of patients in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
- Ensure patient safety by following all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Position patients correctly to ensure accurate imaging results.
- Maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
- Administer contrast agents when necessary and monitor patients for reactions.
- Assist physicians in analyzing diagnostic images.
- Provide instructions and comfort to patients throughout the scanning process.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging results and preparation.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality control standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent care.
- Adhere to infection control and patient privacy standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
- Registered CT Technologist (ARRT) certification or equivalent required.
- State licensure as a radiologic technologist (if applicable).
- At least 1-2 years of experience in CT scanning, preferred.
- Ability to operate and maintain CT equipment effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent patient care skills, with the ability to put patients at ease.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Ability to lift and assist patients, as required.
- Ability to stand for long periods and operate CT equipment.
