Full Time CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)

The CT Tech performs CT scans, providing the highest level of customer service and image quality.
What You Will Do in This Role:
- Perform CT exams following protocols and in a timely manner, ensuring a high quality of care.
- Prepare procedure trays with appropriate supplies.
- Take patient history and retrieve any necessary orders or prior images.
- Provide patient history, signs, and symptoms appropriate to the exam to the radiologist.
- Appropriately complete documentation.
- Coordinate patient flow and check the daily list to ensure all exams are complete.
- Support ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles.
- Inform patients about procedures and answer questions.
- Interact and professionally communicate with physicians, patients, and family members.
- Start IVs for contrast administration.
- Use the power injector.
- Contribute to after-hour coverage through on-call shift rotations.
- Maintain all licenses, certifications, and accreditations required as outlined in job qualifications.
- Handle daily upkeep of departmental work areas (cleaning, stocking, etc.).
- Promote customer service initiatives by adhering to the ICARE values.
- Support and participate in quality (QI) and performance improvement (PI) plans.
- Comply with quarterly targeted metrics (i.e., Kronos, HealthStream, PACS, etc.).
- Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Qualifications You Will Need:
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- Current ARRT certification with advanced registry, or registry eligible with advanced CT certification within 1 year of hire or within 6 months of eligibility.
- 1 year post-graduate experience preferred.
- BLS certification required.
