Responsibilities
- Provide timely diagnostic services to inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
- Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures (head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities) and biopsy/drainage procedures as applicable.
- Operate CT system; maintain sterile technique; manage studies with or without contrast media; apply cross-sectional anatomy knowledge.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited school; registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- State licensure as a general radiographer.
- CT license and BLS required.
- 2 years of CT experience (as indicated).
Schedule and travel details
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension to 26 weeks
- Shift: 2000 - 0630; 4/10's; Sun–Mon–Tue–Wed or Days (8:00–16:30)
- Location: Tucson, AZ area; travel assignment; must live 50 miles outside of Tucson
