nPosition Purpose:
nPerforms multiple imaging procedures in accordance with established parameters. Provides continuity of patient care. Assists Radiologist with procedures. Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne.
nWhat you will Do:
nPrepares patient, room, and equipment for procedure.
nCollects history data from patient and provides patient education
nProvides patient cares in accordance with department policy.
nTakes radiographic exposures appropriate to procedure.
nPerforms multiple imaging procedures and assists Radiologist with special procedures.
nPerforms trauma scanning.
nAssists with CT Guided Biopsies
nPerforms 3D and angiographic scanning procedures.
nProvides radiologist pertinent information for interpretation.
nAdheres to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures.
nBased on principles of growth and development, provides care appropriate to the age related needs of the patients served on his/her assigned unit, which may include:
nBirth-28 days: Neonate

nMinimum Qualifications:
nGraduate of an accredited program in Radiography.
nARRT or NMTCB registered. Must have valid IDPH permit to practice. Mandatory Reporter. BLS. ARRT or NMTCB advanced CT board certification required within 24 months of CT hire
