PRN CT Tech$1,000 hiring bonus!Tanner Clinic has an immediate opening for a PRN CT Tech at our Layton Parkway location.Essential Job Responsibilities:Perform high quality and accurate diagnostic Computerized Tomography (CT) exams in accordance with established proceduresFollow departmental guidelines and protocols in scheduling and documentation of exams and maintaining accurate and complete records relative to the examinations performedPerform quality control on all equipment according to standard procedures.Start and monitor IVs as neededConsult with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure proper tests are being performedMaintain cleanliness of the equipment and scanner roomOther duties as assignedRequirementsEducation: High school diploma or equivalentExperience:ARRT certification requiredCT certification (ARRT or ARMRIT) preferred3-5 years of experience in CT preferredOther Requirements:IV certified preferredCPR certified preferredPerformance Requirements:Knowledge:Knowledge of CT procedures and protocols.Knowledge of anatomy and physiology necessary.Knowledge of CT equipment including safety hazards common to radiology.Skills:Skill in positioning patients properly.Skill in identifying equipment problems and correcting or notifying supervisor.Skill in following infection control and radiological safety procedures.Abilities:Ability to lift and position patients for the type of CT procedure required.Ability to apply written instructions and standardized work practices.Ability to work independentlyAbility to lift 50 lbsEquipment Operated:CT equipment used for medical diagnosis and treatment.Work Environment:Medical offices and imaging roomsMental/Physical Requirements:Standing six to eight hours per day, walking, stooping, and bending.
