CT Technologist
Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This is a Full-Time Day shift opportunity. At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high-quality imaging services ensuring both the comfort and safety of patients and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
As a CT Technologist you will be responsible for:
- Performing high-quality (CT) procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
- Operating CT equipment and ensuring proper maintenance.
- Collaborating with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of procedures.
- Adhering to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Educating patients on the CT process and answering any patient questions.

If hired must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARDMS or ARRT (CT) within 18 months of hire date.
