The CT Technologist performs radiologic and computed tomography procedures with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes. This role requires independent judgment and expertise in handling imaging equipment while delivering excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting a range of technical procedures using ionizing radiation to create cross-sectional images for diagnostic evaluation
- Preparing patient rooms, equipment, supplies, and contrast media
- Performing procedures independently while applying professional judgment and initiative
- Providing age-appropriate care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Collaborating with patients, physicians, and healthcare teams to ensure quality service
- Licensure: Utah Radiologic Technologist License, ARRT Computed Tomography Certification and Registration
- Certification: BLS Certification (required within six months of hire)
- Experience: Previous experience as a Diagnostic and CT Technologist preferred
