CT Tech CT Technologist - New York, NY

Step into a vital role as an experienced CT Technologist supporting a busy imaging department in a dynamic healthcare environment. This is a 13-week contract opportunity with potential for permanent placement for candidates who excel and seek long-term stability.
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

Key Qualifications:

• Current ARRT(CT) certification
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience operating GE CT imaging equipment
• Strong technical proficiency in diagnostic CT procedures
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
• Professionalism and strong communication skills

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Operate and maintain GE CT equipment, ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver efficient patient care
• Accurately document patient information, procedures, and scan results within electronic medical records
• Prioritize patient comfort, safety, and privacy at all times
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety regulations

• The interview process includes a compensated in-person scan interview, lasting 3-4 hours.
