Skilled imaging professionals are needed to deliver critical CT services in a supportive healthcare environment. This position focuses on performing computed tomography (CT) scans to assist with diagnostic accuracy, collaborating closely with physicians and clinical staff.
Key Experience and Skills:
- Current credentials as a CT Technologist (ARRT CT certification required)
- Experience conducting imaging procedures, with proficiency in CT scan technology and protocols
- In-depth understanding of radiation safety and exposure minimization
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot CT equipment efficiently
- Commitment to delivering compassionate patient care and maintaining a safe environment
- Skilled in recordkeeping and knowledge of digital imaging systems (PACS)
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Current BLS certification preferred
- Administer high-quality CT scans according to physician orders and accepted protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout
- Monitor images for diagnostic quality and immediately report any issues or abnormalities
- Maintain accurate patient records, inputting data into electronic medical systems
- Uphold infection control, patient privacy, and radiation protection standards at all times
- Communicate regularly with radiologists and healthcare practitioners to facilitate coordinated care
- Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and report maintenance needs as necessary
