CT Tech CT Technologist in Los Osos, CA

Take your expertise in CT imaging to the next level in a dynamic healthcare setting. This 13-week contract role is ideal for an experienced CT Tech with a strong background in CT imaging and x-ray technology, offering immediate interview opportunities and a rapid decision process.
Schedule:

• Four 10-hour evening shifts (Sunday-Wednesday)
• On-call responsibilities required

What You'll Bring:

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT certification (CT)
• California Radiologic Technologist license
• Fluoroscopy certification
• IV certification
• Demonstrated experience operating Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner
• Proficient in x-ray imaging
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience handling on-call responsibilities preferred

What You'll Do:

• Perform high-quality CT and x-ray exams in accordance with physician orders and compliance guidelines
• Utilize the Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner to capture precise, diagnostic-quality images
• Ensure patient comfort and safety before, during, and after imaging procedures
• Start IVs for contrast, as indicated by study protocols
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and other clinical staff to deliver timely, accurate diagnostic information
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient encounters, imaging records, and quality control logs
• Participate in scheduled on-call coverage as needed
