Job Opportunity
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled professional to perform routine and specialized computerized tomography (CT) procedures. The successful candidate will produce high-quality images for physicians and healthcare providers to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct CT procedures independently while exercising sound judgment and utilizing developed clinical skills.
• Ensure the safety and precision of procedures to deliver accurate results in a timely manner.
• Build confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and healthcare providers through competent assessments and effective communication.
• Adhere to patient monitoring protocols and safety standards throughout the imaging process.

Position Requirements

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).
• California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
• California Fluoroscopy certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with CT procedures, specifically on trauma patients.
• Experience performing stroke protocols including CTA Head and Perfusion studies.

Skills and Expertise

• Proficient in various CT imaging techniques, including but not limited to:


• Abdomen, Chest, and Pelvis (with and without contrast)
• Trauma imaging (head and cervical)
• Vascular studies (including pulmonary embolism and aortic imaging)
• Calcium scoring and coronary angiography
• Knowledge of radiation safety measures and venipuncture techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic charting systems (e.g., Epic) and PACS.

Work Schedule
This position requires availability for 4x10 hour shifts, starting at 12:00 PM and concluding at 10:30 PM, including every other weekend rotation. There are no on-call requirements, but callback opportunities are available on a voluntary basis.
Patient Care and Facility Information

• Daily patient census: Approximately 300.
• Patient age groups served: Neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Interdisciplinary support available from various healthcare services.

Compliance and Onboarding
Candidates are required to complete all necessary compliance documents within specified timeframes. Work history verification for the previous 7 years is mandatory. All onboarding labs must be completed within 3-5 days of contract signing.
