Job Opportunity
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join a dynamic and high-volume department located in a comprehensive stroke hospital. This opportunity offers the chance to work with advanced technology and a variety of cases, focusing primarily on neuro procedures.
Shift Details

• Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (06:30 AM - 15:00 PM)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
• Weekend Requirements: To be discussed during the interview
• On-Call Requirements: No

Job Responsibilities

• Perform a range of CT procedures including, but not limited to:
  
  • Neuro CTs
  • Perfusions
  • TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
  • CT Angiography (CTA)
  • Biopsy procedures: lung, kidney
  • Cryoablations and drainages
  • Venous mapping
• Utilize GE and Siemens equipment effectively
• Document procedures using Cerner EMR system
• Maintain compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT technology required
• Certifications:
  
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • ARRT Advanced Certification
  • Florida State License
• Experience with biopsy and contrast administration
• Prior work experience in outpatient, inpatient, emergency room, and adult ICU settings
• Strong familiarity with PACS systems and ability to effectively document patient care

• Type: Short Term Acute Care Teaching Hospital
• Total Staffed Beds: 599
• Department: High volume with comprehensive stroke services
• Age Groups Served: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
• Daily Census: 125-150 patients
