CT Scan Technologist-Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center-Full Time: Thurs/Fri/Sat 11am-12am

Responsible for producing cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. Interprets a physician's scanning instructions, administering contrast materials, preparing and operating the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.

Principal Accountabilities:

• 1. Interprets CT Protocols and correctly positions the patient for the exam.
• 2. Operates CT scanner equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation standards (ALARA).
• 3. Evaluates CT scans for technical quality.
• 4. Utilizes EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images to the Radiologist for interpretation.
• 5. Prepares and administers contrast material using the power injector.
• 6. Performs other related duties as assigned.
