Responsibilities
Responsible for producing cross‑section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Interprets physician’s scanning instructions, administers contrast materials, prepares and operates CT scan equipment, and positions patients to capture the appropriate images.
Qualifications
- ARRT CT Certification preferred; may be obtained within 1 year of hire.
- ARRT Radiography preferred; BLS required.
- Licensed by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection in Diagnostic Radiography.
