Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Employ radiographic and CT imaging techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician review
- Work closely with radiologists and the wider healthcare team to facilitate accurate diagnoses
- Ensure optimal positioning of patients and precise calibration of imaging equipment
- Adhere rigorously to radiation safety protocols for the well-being of patients and staff alike
- Keep detailed and accurate records, including imaging logs and equipment maintenance data
- Provide compassionate care throughout each imaging experience
- Promote and maintain a safe, organized, and efficient imaging space
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is a must; a Bachelor's Degree is an added advantage
- Graduation from an accredited radiology program is essential
- ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography) is required
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days post-hire
- Strong competence in diagnostic imaging standards and safety protocols
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for communicating effectively with patients and the healthcare team
