Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Performing advanced radiographic and CT imaging to generate high-quality diagnostic results for physician evaluation
- Engaging in collaboration with radiologists and an interdisciplinary team to guarantee precise diagnoses
- Positioning patients accurately and calibrating imaging equipment to acquire optimal results
- Implementing strict radiation safety protocols for both patients and colleagues
- Keeping thorough records, including imaging interactions and equipment upkeep
- Delivering compassionate care to patients throughout the scanning process
- Maintaining a tidy, organized, and efficient imaging area
- Mandatory Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology; a Bachelor's Degree is a bonus
- Completion from a recognized radiology educational program
- ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography
- Valid BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire
- Ability to follow diagnostic imaging protocols and safety guidelines
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients and interdepartmental colleagues
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment and readiness to meet changing demands
- A meticulous approach paired with a strong sense of responsibility
- Technological aptitude with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging systems
