Overview
We are seeking a motivated Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist / Cath Lab Tech with strong scrub skills and experience supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This 13-week travel assignment offers the chance to work alongside an experienced cardiovascular care team in a collaborative interventional environment while expanding your clinical skill set.

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150 - $2,310
• Call: Required
• Weekend Coverage: To be discussed with the manager
• Orientation: Time-sensitive modules required prior to start
• Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Cardiology / Cardiovascular Procedures

Job Requirements

• At least 18 months of recent Cath Lab or cardiovascular technologist experience; 2 years preferred
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• ARRT R, CCI RCIS, or RCVT preferred
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, scrub procedures, and Cath Lab room setup
• Ability to work with electronic charting systems and clinical documentation workflows
• Comfortable floating within scope as needed to support facility needs
• Must comply with smoke-free facility requirements and pre-start screening
• Must be able to complete required pre-start modules on time
• At least 1 year of experience required if not otherwise specified

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Prepare equipment, instruments, and procedure rooms for patient cases
• Maintain strict sterile technique throughout all cardiac procedures
• Support procedures such as PCI, PTCA, stent placement, catheterizations, and hemodynamic interventions
• Recognize and respond appropriately to life-threatening arrhythmias and urgent clinical changes
• Assist with room circulation, patient preparation, and safe procedure workflow
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the cardiovascular care team
• Complete required orientation modules and facility-specific compliance steps before start
• Float within scope when needed to help meet departmental needs
