CT / Radiologic Technologist – Cath Lab Travel Contract in Hickory, North Carolina

- Start Date: October 12, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks, ending January 11, 2027
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Shifts: 5 shifts per week; 8-hour day shifts
- Call: Every third week; details will be reviewed during the interview
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatric patients
- Work Setting: On-site heart and vascular procedural service line
Radiologic Technologist and Cath Lab Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program
- Current ARRT or RCIS registration
- At least 1 year of relevant experience with proficiency in one or more of the following: Interventional Radiology, Vascular, Cardiac Catheterization, or Electrophysiology; 2 years of experience is preferred
- Current BLS/BCLS certification; certifications not issued by the American Heart Association must be supplemented by an AHA certification within 3 months of employment
- ACLS certification required within 1 year of employment
- Experience with required clinical charting systems
- Ability to support scheduled procedures, rotating service-line assignments, and the established call schedule
- COVID-19 vaccination required, with medical and religious exemptions considered according to applicable policy
- Support safe, efficient care delivery in the heart and vascular procedural environment
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures across Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology, Vascular Surgery, and related specialties
- Apply radiologic or cardiovascular technology expertise during cardiac and vascular procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the procedural team to promote excellent patient care
- Prepare equipment and procedural areas while maintaining safety, quality, and infection-control standards
- Provide professional coverage during assigned weekday shifts and scheduled call rotations
- Document patient care and procedural activities accurately in the designated charting system
- Care for adult and geriatric patients with professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail
