Northwell Health is seeking a full-time Intensivist to join the Cardiothoracic ICU (CTICU) team at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York. This role is within the Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Service line, which has received accolades for quality outcomes. • Join the Cardiothoracic ICU (CTICU) team.
• North Shore University Hospital is a 756-bed hospital with over 4,000 specialty and subspecialty physicians.
• The Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery service line performs cardiac related surgeries including open procedures, transcatheter based therapies, ECMO, and LV support for high risk PCI.
• The program has received the prestigious double asterisk award from the Department of Health for outcomes significantly better than the statewide average.
• Physicians will be employed as members of Northwell Physician Partners, the fifth largest medical group in the country.

Requirements

• Fellowship trained in Critical Care or Thoracic Surgery.
• Board Certified in Critical Care or Thoracic Surgery.
• Primary board certifications can include Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, or General Surgery.
• Candidates graduating from sub-specialty training will be considered depending upon CTICU experience during fellowship training.
