Your Key Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced radiographic and CT methodologies to produce high-caliber diagnostic images that inform physician assessments
- Collaborate closely with radiology specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure precise diagnostics
- Expertly position patients and adjust equipment settings for optimal imaging results
- Adhere to stringent radiation safety protocols for the well-being of patients and colleagues alike
- Maintain meticulous records, including imaging logs and operational status of equipment
- Deliver empathetic patient care throughout their imaging journey
- Contribute to a safe, organized, and efficiently functioning imaging department
- An Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is essential; a Bachelor's Degree would be advantageous
- Completion of an accredited radiography program is required
- Current ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography is necessary
- Active BLS certification, or willing to acquire in the first 90 days of employment
- Comprehensive understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety guidelines
- Strong verbal communication abilities with patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptable in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive approach to varying demands
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong sense of professional accountability
- Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and the latest imaging technology
