Your Key Responsibilities
- Utilize cutting-edge radiographic and CT imaging techniques to generate top-notch diagnostic images for physicians
- Partner with radiologists and the healthcare team for accurate image interpretation and patient care
- Ensure proper positioning of patients and think critically about equipment calibration for maximum imaging efficiency
- Maintain stringent radiation safety protocols to protect patients and fellow staff
- Keep precise records, including imaging logs and the maintenance of equipment
- Deliver compassionate patient care throughout the imaging journey
- Foster a safe, organized, and efficient imaging atmosphere
- Must possess an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology; a Bachelor's Degree is an advantageous addition
- Graduation from an accredited program in radiology
- ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography
- Current BLS certification or ability to secure it within 90 days of commencing employment
- Expert knowledge of diagnostic imaging protocols and adherence to safety standards
- Strong communication prowess that resonates with patients and diverse healthcare teams
- Capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment and pivot to meet evolving needs
- A meticulous, detail-oriented perspective paired with a sense of accountability
- Comfortable with technology including PACS, RIS, and advanced imaging software
