Your Duties Will Include
- Employing radiographic and CT protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician assessment
- Working closely with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure accurate imaging and diagnoses
- Carefully positioning patients and calibrating equipment for optimal imaging output
- Upholding strict radiation safety procedures for patients and colleagues alike
- Keeping detailed records, including imaging documentation and equipment maintenance
- Delivering compassionate patient experiences throughout the imaging process
- Ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient imaging environment
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Graduation from an accredited radiology educational program
- ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography) is mandatory
- Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Thorough understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety standards
- Exceptional communication abilities with patients and interdisciplinary members
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced situations and adapt quickly when needed
- Meticulous attention to detail and sense of accountability
- Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software
