Your Role at a Glance
- Utilize radiographic and CT techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician assessments.
- Work closely with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure precise diagnoses.
- Calibrate equipment and position patients accurately to achieve optimal scan results.
- Implement radiation safety protocols to protect patients and colleagues.
- Maintain complete and accurate imaging records, including equipment maintenance logs.
- Deliver empathetic patient care from start to finish during the imaging process.
- Foster a safe, organized, and visible imaging environment.
- An Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Completion of an accredited radiology program.
- ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography is required.
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
- In-depth understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills with patients and interdisciplinary team members.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust to shifting demands.
- A meticulous, detail-oriented approach coupled with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Competence with PACS, RIS, and modern imaging systems.
