Your Responsibilities
- Utilize radiographic and CT techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician review
- Work alongside radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure precise diagnoses
- Expertly position patients and calibrate imaging devices for stellar results
- Prioritize radiation safety protocols to protect patients and colleagues
- Keep current records, including imaging logs and equipment upkeep
- Deliver compassionate care to patients throughout their imaging experience
- Play a part in maintaining an efficient and organized imaging setting
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is valued
- Successful graduation from an accredited radiology program
- ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography
- Active BLS certification or the ability to secure it within 90 days of hire
- Strong understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety measures
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and staff
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt swiftly to shifting demands
- A keen attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
- Comfort with contemporary imaging technologies including PACS, RIS, and various imaging software
