Your Responsibilities Include
- Utilizing advanced radiographic and CT methods to create precise diagnostic images for physicians
- Collaborating with radiologists and the healthcare team to secure accurate findings
- Ensuring proper patient positioning and calibrating equipment to achieve optimal imaging
- Maintaining strict adherence to radiation safety protocols for all stakeholders
- Keeping detailed records related to imaging procedures and equipment upkeep
- Delivering compassionate care to patients throughout their imaging journey
- Contributing to an organized, safe, and efficient imaging environment
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is essential; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
- Completion of an accredited radiology education program
- ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography
- Current BLS certification or the capability to achieve it within 90 days post-hire
- Background in diagnostic imaging protocols with respect for safety standards
- Strong verbal communication skills with patients and team members
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting swiftly to situational changes
- Detail-oriented approach coupled with a strong sense of accountability
- Technological proficiency with imaging systems like PACS and RIS
