Your Role and Responsibilities
- Utilize radiographic and CT imaging techniques to deliver diagnostic images that inform physician assessments
- Engage with radiologists and your multidisciplinary team to ensure precision in diagnoses
- Skillfully position patients and calibrate equipment to achieve outstanding imaging quality
- Prioritize safety protocols to protect both patients and colleagues from radiation exposure
- Maintain comprehensive logs of imaging activities and pertinent equipment maintenance
- Exude empathy and professionalism while guiding patients through their imaging experiences
- Foster an organized, efficient, and safe working environment conducive to high-quality imaging
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is an added bonus
- Completion of a radiology program accredited by the appropriate certifying bodies
- ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography is essential
- Current BLS certification or the ability to secure one within 90 days of employment
- Expertise in diagnostic imaging methods and adherence to safety regulations
- Strong communication skills with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Aptitude for high-pressure environments and the ability to pivot quickly
- Meticulous nature coupled with a strong dedication to responsibilities
- Adeptness with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software solutions
