Your Key Responsibilities
- Apply radiographic and CT imaging techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images for the evaluation of physicians
- Work closely with radiologists and the medical team to ensure accurate diagnostic outcomes
- Accurately maneuver and position patients, while calibrating equipment for exceptional imaging results
- Uphold strict radiation safety protocols for patients and staff
- Maintain comprehensive records, including imaging logs and equipment servicing
- Deliver compassionate care throughout the imaging procedure
- Ensure a safe, well-organized, and efficient imaging space
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is essential; a Bachelor's Degree is highly favorable
- Graduation from an accredited radiology program is required
- Current ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography is required
- BLS certification must be current or achievable within 90 days of hire
- Thorough knowledge of diagnostic imaging standards and safety regulations
- Strong communication abilities with patients and interdisciplinary colleagues
- Adeptness in fast-paced environments and adaptability to changing priorities
- Attention to detail coupled with a strong sense of responsibility
- Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software
