Job Summary
Assess patients' health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, maintain medical records, and administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room, including circulating, scrubbing, and serving as patient advocate during vulnerable times.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans for perioperative patients.
- Act as patient advocate during times of vulnerability.
- Serve in circulating and scrub roles across all service lines.
- Participate in department decision making.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of employment.
- Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
