Performs duties in accordance with applicable gaming regulations and policies and procedures.Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:Performs all duties within the rules and regulations of Cage Slots Operations consistent with employee handbookReceives and exchanges cash, checks, gift certificates, gaming chips, slot tickets, and other vouchers from guestsMaintains physical custody of the Cashier's inventory of currency, coins, tokens, forms, documents and records transactions accurately at a cashier station or working on the gaming floorHandles fill and credit transactionsProcesses cash advances and check cashingMaintains payroll check cashing registryPerforms all duties in accordance with our spectacular customer service standardsResponsible for signing in and out necessary keys for assigned shiftPerforms basic troubleshooting on Player Terminals when rotated to floorCashes out jackpots under the direct supervision of the Supervisor/CashierEffectively, efficiently and professionally communicates with coworkers using electronic mediaSecondary Functions:Responds to customer questions and disputesEnsures that all player terminals are serviced in a timely mannerMaintains floor cleanliness to project a positive imageServes as a cashier/floor attendant breaker when assignedMay disburse prepared bank rollsCommunicates via telephone for technical assistance regarding the check cashing system and credit card advancesOther duties as assignedSpecific Skills:Completes large volume cash transactions and documents regularly and accuratelyDemonstrates good problem-solving skills, including handling stressful situations and guest disputesExcellent math skillsExcellent customer service Ability to work well with guests and other employeesAbility to communicate both in writing and verballyGood attendance habitsPublic relations skillsAbility to follow directionsAbility to trouble shoot basic gaming machine functionsQualificationsEducation and/or Experience:High School Diploma or GED Required. Cash handling experience preferred.

Minimum of two (2) years large volume cash handling experience is preferred, coupled with a fast-paced business environment.Job Conditions:Conditions include working in a crowded, loud, smoke-filled environment. Guest interactions may become stressful. Conditions will also include frequent interruptions and working evenings, weekends and holidays, including working a rotating schedule.Physical Requirements:Manual and finger dexterity for operation of computers, works in a confine space within gaming machinery and cash process equipment.

Ability to lift 25 lbs. and requires to sit and or stand for extended periods of time.
